Our process

Ever wondered how our crisps are made…?

Step 1.

We pick the best crisping tatties from our farmer pals and prep them for their destiny. Some clever machines help clean, peel, de-starch, slice and blanch them on their way to our fryer.

Step 2.

Time to turn up the heat and get crisping! We fry our potatoes gently and for a little longer than the ‘other guys’. This gives them their unique texture and crunch. Once they’re cooked, we check them and flavour themmmmm.

Step 3.

After a good flavouring, each crisp is weighed and grouped with other likeminded crisps. They’re then sent down a very gentle chute into our Taylors packets. After that, they’re sealed, boxed, packed and shipped all the way to you.
